At 3 years old they will truly enjoy playing "pretend". We have a number of sets with which they can become chefs, doctors, dentists, mechanics, hairdressers... Miniature farm and house sets will also allow them to exercise their imagination, while large crayons, finger paints, and Play-Dough help develop their creativity.

 

Children also make huge gains in both fine and gross motor skills throughout this period, so puzzles, large blocks, and other construction toys are perfect age-appropriate toys. Sound is always an enticement, so young children love musical instruments and hammer-and-peg toys at this age range.

During the preschool years, they will learn more about socialization, and will enjoy cooperative and competitive games.
